OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION

All course communications MUST use Ed Discussion exclusively. See Communication Policies for complete guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • Platform: Ed Discussion only - no emails answered
  • Response Time: 48 hours for posts following proper guidelines
  • Announcements: Course updates posted on Ed Discussion and sent via email

Assignment & Submission Policies

OFFICIAL SUBMISSION POLICY

All projects must be submitted via Gradescope exclusively. See Submissions & Gradescope for complete procedures and policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Platform: Gradescope only - access via Canvas
  • Late Work: Not accepted (zero tolerance policy)
  • Extensions: Pre-approval required with documentation

Critical Deadlines:

  • Assignment Schedule: Check Course Schedule for all due dates
  • Submission Timing: All assignments due before 11:59:00 PM ET
  • Time Zone Settings: Set Canvas to YOUR local time zone

SUBMIT EARLY WARNING

Technical issues are your responsibility. Submit early and often to avoid last-minute problems. See Submissions & Gradescope for detailed procedures.

Withdrawing:

  • Only the Registrar’s Office can assist with withdrawing from the course or university.
  • Creating an Ed Post, Canvas message, or email to the course staff will not withdraw you!
  • Should you need to withdraw from the course, more information can be found here.
