Technical Requirements

Browser Compatibility

  • Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge
  • Enable JavaScript and file uploads
  • Disable pop-up blockers if needed

File Upload Requirements

  • Follow all project-specific file size and format requirements
  • Ensure a stable internet connection when submitting
  • Keep local backups of all files you submit

Common Problems

  • Timed out errors: Autograder stops processing after 600 seconds (10 minutes). If this occurs, you will need to optimize your code.
  • Failed uploads: Check file type, size, and connectivity
  • Autograder errors: Review output and fix issues. For projects with submission limits, create a private ED post to re-run the submission; failed submissions still count towards submission counts
  • Account login issues: Verify correct email and alias usage

Retaking the Course

  • If repeating the course, you may resubmit your own previous work
  • Add a comment: “Resubmitting my own prior work”
  • Submissions must match current semester specifications
  • All submissions are still checked for plagiarism

Academic Integrity

See Academic Honesty for full policy details.

Summary:

  • All submissions are monitored for integrity
